ca y est j'ai réussi.un vrai caca (scusez le terme).Déjà faut avoir u64x l'ému.

ensuite faut avoir l'image de KI mais pas n'importe laquel,pour killer1 il faut "ki.chd"+"u10-l1,u11-l1,u12-l1,u13-l1,u33-l1,u34-l1,u35-l1,u36-l1,u98-l15d"

(ouf!) la déjà vous avez tout pour le jeu + l'ému apres ca se corse un peu.

Tutorial for converting KI CHD files to IMG files

Okay there has been a few questions regarding how to convert CHD files to IMG files. This tutorial is a step-by-step guide to do just that.

First though you will need a few things:-

Kinst.chd (ad58772a)

Kinst2.chd (f43ff1ec)

hdcomp.exe from mame072b.zip

KI v1.0 HD Patch.exe from KIHDPatchv2.zip

KI2 v2.1 HD Patch.exe from KI2HDPatchv2.zip

Both of those can be found here...

CRC Generator

The above links point to freeware software. Do not ask for links to the CHD files.

Okay when you have got all that:-

Install Hex Workshop

Install HashCalc

Create a directory called KI in the root of C: i.e C:\ki

Copy Kinst.chd, Kinst2.chd, hdcomp.exe, KI v1.0 HD Patch.exe & KI2 v2.1 HD Patch.exe in to this directory.

Fire up HashCalc & check the crc32 hash of both Kinst.chd & Kinst2.chd

Kinst.chd should have a crc32 of (ad58772a)

Kinst2.chd should have a crc32 of (f43ff1ec)

If the crc's don't match then you should stop here as I have only done this with these crc's

Open a Dos command prompt by; Click Start > Run; type in cmd & then click okay.

Type cd c:\ki

Type hdcomp -extract kinst.chd ki.img

When extration is complete

Type hdcomp -extract kinst2.chd ki2.img

When extration is complete; close Dos box

Killer Instinct 1

Start Hex Workshop and open Ki.img. It should look like this:-

After that it should look like this:-

You will now need to overwrite the first 13 bytes with:-

4147 2034 3139 2031 3320 3437 0A

Like this:-

After that click File > Save

If you want you can load this new file in to HashCalc to check the new crc; it should be:-

8742e2ca

If it's not then you have made a mistake above.

If it is:-

Open explorer and double click KI v1.0 HD Patch.exe

Uncheck make backup

Click start

After the file is patched check the crc again and it should be:-

1dd9d8b2

If all of the above went okay; you now have a good Ki.img file.

Tu dois mettre tes roms + l'image CHD (convertie en .img + patch appliqué + modif. avec 1 petit coup d'éditeur hexa) dans les rep prévus à la racine du default.xbe de l'ému (1 dossier pour Ki1 & 1 autre pour Ki2) :

/KI1 (dossier à ne pas compresser ou renommer autrement)

ki.img

u10-l1

u11-l1

u12-l1

u13-l1

u33-l1

u34-l1

u35-l1

u36-l1

u98-l15d

et voilà pour KI1. (je n'ai indiqué aucune adresse ou aucun lien pour la rom ou autres fichiers de ki)

g mieux , tu prends les images toutes pretes qui traine sur le net et tu evite de perdre ton temps a convertir tes .chd

je savais pas! ca c'est la méthode facile! et puis s'y tenter une fois ca fait pas de mal,celà permet de pouvoir ce dire que l'on a accompli qlque chose d'un peu compliqué sur sa bécane et d'avoir beaucoup plus de plaisir quand tu y joues

tu sais "c'est comme un jeune offre lui un présent:consoles,jeux, montre, qu'importe......Et bien tu vera qu'il aura bien moin de plaisir à ses yeux que s'il ce l'étais payé à la sueur de son front.Mais bon t'as bien fait de mettre aussi la méthode "j'click c tout pret" comme une pizza "Mc clayne" (pour ne pas faire de pub)

Non mais ça traine pas sur le net du tout !! la rom KI2.img est introuvable je n'ai que LA CHD que je n'arrive pas à convertir !!
